Geoffrey M. Aptt is the founder of Aptt Law LLC and brings over a decade of legal experience to the firm’s coordinated estate, trust, and business planning practice. Before focusing his practice on trusts and estates, Geoffrey worked as corporate, employment, M&A, and litigation counsel — a commercial law background he brings to every plan. At Aptt Law, Geoffrey advises families and business owners on estate plan design and implementation, with a particular focus on business succession strategies and tax-efficient wealth transfer. He also counsels trustees and executors on trust administration, estate administration, and probate.

In addition to estate and tax planning, Mr. Aptt leverages his substantial business experience to serve as outside general counsel assisting closely held family businesses with advisory, transaction support, and employment law consulting.
